FAQs

What is your weekend service like?

Each weekend at DWCC you will find a friendly, encouraging atmosphere with great music and worship. A printed set of notes for the day’s sermon is also made available to all who attend service.

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

What do I wear to attend your services?

You’ll see people wearing anything from casual clothes to business suits during our weekend services. Come, in whatever attire is comfortable for you, because at Destined to Win it is not about what you look like or what you wear.

Where are you located?

Services are held at: 160 Westwood Drive, Park Forest, IL. Our Administrative Office is also located at 160 Westwood Drive.Click here for directions.

Do you have a midweek service?

What about my children?

At Destined to Win, your children are a top priority. Our Children 3-12 years of age are well-cared for in a loving environment while taking part in our Children’s ministry.

How can I meet others and get connected?

There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Embracing the Vision new membership class. Small groups are another great way to connect. In the near future we will be a church of small groups.

How can I be disciplined and grow?

Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. THE WAY ministry track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. From the initial decision to accept Jesus as your Lord to your involvement in life-changing ministry, we will lead you step-by-step from healing to growth and into leadership. Begin the process at our next Embracing the Vision Class.

2010 AM 1160 (WYLL) Radio Broadcast: Most believers have their priorities misaligned in their understanding of servant hood and “sonship” faith. Pastor Kelvin reveals that under the new covenant, believers are to respond to the finished work of the cross as a son not a servant. There is nothing we must do to qualify for our inheritance. Sacred cows are destroyed in this teaching that will transform your thinking for greater productivity in your life as a believer.
